A Wonder Drink to cure your Diabetes.
Thanks to the wonder of Lady Finger. A common item for cooking to the chinese, lady finger is common vegetables for food. Never do I realise the good properties of it, that can control and reduce the sugar level in our blood, and as a result can cure diabetes.

Diabetes is becoming a very common disease afflicting the mass and especially those are can live off better in life. For those who have diabetes, will know the inconvenience and problem and hassle of taking insulin injections. Of course, nowadays, there are tablets that can be taken instead. Having diabetes is dangerous, as this can lead to other illness easily.

The following email arrive just a couple of days ago, and I thought it good to share this. Here the story goes,

Please note that another name for Lady Finger (Bhindi) is "OKURA". Last month, in one of the TV program I learnt of a treatment of Sugar (Diabetes).

Since I am diabetic, I tried it and it was very useful and my Sugar is in control now. In fact I have already reduced my medicine. Take two pieces of Lady Finger (Bhindi) and remove/cut both ends of each piece.

Also put a small cut in the middle and put thse two pieces in glass of water. Cover the glass and keep it at room temperature during night.

Early morning, before breakfast simply remove two pieces of lady finger (bhindi) from the glass and drink that water. Keep doing it on daily basis.

Within two weeks, you will see remarkable results in reduction of your Sugar.

My sister has got rid of her diabetes. She was on INsulin for a few years, but after taking the lady fingers every morning for a few months. She has stopped Insulin but continues to take the lady fingers every day.

But she chops the lady fingers into fine pieces in the night, adds the water and drinks it all up the next morning.

Please try it as it will not do you any harm even if it does not do much good to you, but U have to keep taking it for a few months before U see results, as most cases might be chronic. "Unquote"

Looks like it is not the food that we eat is important, but rather how the food is handle and process plays an important part.

On the Brick

The Brick Story

The story was told as below;

A young and successful executive was travelling down a neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar.

He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something. As his car passed, no children appeared. Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door! He slammed on the brakes and backed the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown.

The angry driver then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up against a parked car shouting, "What was that all about and who are you? Just what the heck are your doing! That's a new car and that brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money. Why did you do it?

The young boy was apologetic. "Please, mister ..please, I'm sorry but I didn't know what else to do," he pleaded, "I threw the brick because no one else would stop..." with tears dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth pointed to a spot just around a parked car. "It's my brother," he said. " He rolled off the curb and fell out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up."

Now sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive, "Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and he's too heavy for me".

Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in his throat. He hurriedly lifted the handicapped boy back into the wheelchair, then took out a linen handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh scrapes and cuts. A quick look told him everything was going to be okay. "Thank you and may God bless you, " the grateful child told the stranger. Too shock up for words, the man simply watched the boy push his wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalk towards their home.

It was a long, slow walk back to the Jaguar. The damage was very noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair the dented side door. He kept the dent there to remind him of this message: "Don't go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention!". God whispers in our souls and speaks to our hearts. Sometimes when we don't have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us. It's our choice to listen or not. End of Story.

The point is due to the need to make a living, we rush our daily lives through, most of the time on a very fast lane. In the process, we overlook many people and happenings around us. And sometimes, things happened along the way that serve as wake-up call to ourselves. Let's us pause for a while and give time to our lives to see, feel and appreciate things that are there. And hopefully, we will never need such a story on the brick to wake us up.
